The Experience

Small touches
that add up

We don't do anything halfway here. From the locally roasted coffee waiting for you each morning to the hand-poured candles in every room, the details are chosen with care — because the difference between a stay and a retreat is in the details.

Our courtyard is the heart of the property: a shaded space with string lights, a fire pit, and chairs arranged just right for watching the Texas sky darken. Whether you arrive at noon or midnight, the porch light is on and the kettle is warm.

Complimentary breakfast Fresh pastries, local honey, and Texas coffee every morning
Flexible check-in Late arrivals welcome — we keep the porch light on
Private courtyards Each room opens to its own outdoor space
Local concierge We know the best trails, diners, and hidden spots nearby

If you're coming from the north, take the Summit Street exit. If you're already lost (as many of our guests are), call us and we'll send directions that actually make sense.

Texas Hill Country sunset over Lagniappe Retreat grounds
We drove through Tow at midnight, exhausted and lost. The porch light was on, the coffee was warm, and we slept like we'd been asleep in our own home for years. That's the lagniappe effect.
